Out with the Mercury-Vapor and in with the Light-Emitting Diodes!
We are rewiring each light ballast and replacing the old mercury-vapor fluorescent lights with brighter LED lights.
These last longer, shine brighter and use half as much electricity.
There are hundreds of these fixtures throughout the entire building.. so this is no easy task. But the benefits will far outweigh the investment!

This barber rental space would be an ideal spot for a barber, with rent starting at just $250 a month! Located near the Highway 62 Boutiques, this main space spans 55 square feet and includes water access for any type of sink you might want to install. It also features plenty of Slatwall Paneling for all the accessories you can dream up, along with a 10' tall set of shelves, with the option to take two shelves and/or more space. Plus, you can benefit from our vendor referral program to help grow your business.

We're seeking new vendors for our barber rental space at Highway 62 Boutiques, and we hope to count on your help! We are excited to introduce our Vendor Referral Program. If you are a vendor who knows another vendor looking for retail, storage, or studio space, you can earn $50 towards your next month's rent. Plus, your friend will also receive $50 towards their first month's rent. Refer a friend for a combined $100 towards your rent!
o1.o5.26 A NEW ROOF IS COMING
The building has been vacant since J.C. Penney left in 2020, and over the years, leaks have developed. We were hoping to patch the roof to fix the leaks, but unfortunately, the whole thing was shot. With plans to utilize the space for a barber rental space, a new roof has been delivered and will be installed over the next few weeks. Fingers crossed that there isn't any more rain for a couple of weeks! This renovation is also part of our efforts to enhance the area near the Highway 62 Boutiques, and we’re looking forward to launching a vendor referral program to attract more businesses.

Happy New Year from Highway 62 Boutiques! We have been working hard to prepare everything for our opening early in 2026. One of the biggest challenges has been securing a new roof and ceiling, addressing electrical issues, and cleaning up the space. Additionally, we are excited to offer a barber rental space as part of our vendor referral program. We look forward to opening our doors to the community this year!
